September Recap

Liz & I took a field trip to She Grows Gardens in Arvada and we lost ourselves in the dahlia fields.

I started September in Salt Lake City, Utah. I was lucky enough to be invited on a Siloh Floral job outside of Park City at Blue Sky Ranch. Per usual we worked very hard and were very tired but I gained some life long flower friends and found out that Utah is where it’s at! Now I know I really want an electric bike thanks to the Swapp Family in Midway!

Alli J’s weddings were huge but there were only two - one in Steamboat and one in Beaver Creek. We got to see the seasonal transition into fall which was magical! Keep Floral had our second wedding of the year in Aspen at The Hotel Jerome… it was a simple yet lovely garden party. I was thrilled with how everything turned out and I want to do it again!

In life, I reupholstered my kitchen chairs - shoutout to my mom. She teaches me everything I know about all creative pursuits and beyond. I read some fun books and I gathered the necessary items to start baking again now that my starter is growing regularly again!

The frost doesn’t look like it’s getting any closer so we will keep the flowers rolling at the collective although we’re all tired and could use a break!
